How Inspect AI Pro Works

It's simple. You type notes just as you would in the field. For example, you might write: "kitchen sink leaks under cabinet (safety concern)". Our AI does the rest:

• Categorization: It understands "kitchen sink" belongs in the "Kitchen" category and "Plumbing" section of your report.
• Observation Writing: It expands your note into a professional, client-friendly observation, like: "A water leak was observed from the plumbing beneath the kitchen sink. This can lead to moisture damage and potential microbial growth."
• Severity Assignment: Based on your keyword "(safety concern)", it marks the item with the appropriate severity level in the final report.

After the inspection, the write-up — sorting photos and typing every finding — is often one to two hours at a desk. Inspect AI Pro is built so a draft already exists from the shorthand you typed on site. You review that draft and generate the PDF while the property is still fresh.

You still do the inspection, and you still approve the wording. The software drafts. A fictional before-and-after is on the sample report page.

Absolutely. Your brand is your identity. In the "Settings" area, you have full control over the look and feel of your PDF reports. You can:

• Upload your company logo.
• Change the color scheme to match your brand colors.
• Customize the layout and content of the cover page.
• Create and save multiple report templates for different inspection types (e.g., residential, commercial, pre-listing).

Yes. Export inspection data from Home Inspector Pro (HIP) as a .hzf or .zip file, then choose Import from HIP in the Inspections menu. That brings the data into the report writer.

Inspect AI Pro does not sync with ISN. It does not include online booking or an embeddable scheduler. It also does not include inspection agreements, e-sign, or a repair-request builder. The FAQ lists what the product does and does not do.
