1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Site Wise Software, Victoria, BC, Canada. They cover the Inspect AI Pro website and the report-writing application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Inspect AI Pro is an AI report writer. You enter home-inspection shorthand. The Service drafts report language from those notes and can generate a PDF. You are the inspector. You decide what is inspected, what the report should say, and whether a draft is fit to send. The Service does not perform inspections and does not provide a professional inspection opinion.

The Service does not include:

online booking, a client scheduler, or an embeddable scheduler;
Inspection Support Network (ISN) integration;
inspection agreements, electronic signature, or a repair-request builder.

You may import inspection data that you exported from Home Inspector Pro. A "Book a Demo" request on the marketing site is a conversation with Site Wise Software about the product. It is not a booking system for your clients.

3. Trial and paid plans

The free trial includes 3 PDF reports and does not require a credit card. After the trial, Pro is $79 USD per month or $790 USD per year, as shown on the pricing page. Those prices are in United States dollars. If the pricing page and these terms ever differ, the pricing page is the current offer and these terms will be updated to match.

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel renewal in the Stripe customer portal linked from your account. Cancellation stops the next charge. It does not erase reports you already generated during a paid period you have paid for.

Taxes may be added where the law requires them. We do not promise a specific refund window beyond what payment-network and consumer laws already require.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, photos, and other material you submit ("Content"). You are responsible for its legality and for having the right to use it, including information about properties and people named in a report. You give us a license to host, reproduce, and process that Content only so we can operate the Service for you, including sending it to the AI processors that draft a report you requested.

We do not use your inspection Content to train Inspect AI Pro models.

5. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@sitewisesoftware.com if you believe the account is being misused.

6. Acceptable use

You will not:

use the Service to break the law or to infringe someone else's rights;
upload malware or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
present an AI draft as if you had not reviewed it, when your client is relying on you as the inspector;
resell the Service as your own software.

7. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is harming the Service or other people. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) continue after the account ends.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." AI drafts can be wrong, incomplete, or poorly categorized. You must review every report before you deliver it. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Site Wise Software and its directors, employees, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for a material change, we will try to give at least 30 days' notice by email or by a notice in the Service. If you keep using the Service after the new terms take effect, you are agreeing to them.
